Maximising Space and Functionality in Small Bathrooms: The Glen Iris Ensuite

One of the most important things to consider when designing a small bathroom is storage. It would be best if you had a place to put all your toiletries, towels, and other essentials, but you also want to avoid clutter, which can make a small space feel even smaller.

What we love about this ensuite bathroom for a client in Glen Iris is the intelligent use of the double vanity—a highly functional space for two—plus the spaciousness achieved with the large storage drawers, which hide the plumbing and bathroom essentials.

The long vanity and drawers have plenty of storage space for bathroom essentials. The vanity's clean lines and minimalist look help create a sense of calm and relaxation in the bathroom.

This ensuite is remarkably narrow, and the large mirror and the vivid white colour reflect light and create the illusion and feeling of more space.

The simple yet striking lines of the black fixtures make the bathroom pop! The setting is set for using plants to add a touch of life and greenery to the space.

Speaking of bathroom plants, we randomly came across this informative video. There is no association, but it is good info for those of us who aren't plant-savvy!
